Our Process
Guardianship Consultation
During this free consultation, we’ll discuss your individual needs and help you understand the Guardianship process to determine if our firm would be a good fit for your needs.
Hearing
During a hearing, we will meet with a judge for approximately 30 minutes to go through the formal steps of appointing the guardian. On average, it takes 30-40 days to receive a hearing date with a judge.
Finalization
After the hearing, we’ll review the authority of the court-appointed guardian, the biennial duties required under the law, and provide instructions on proper financial management and recordkeeping.
